Rob North

Meet

I love Vermont, the lifestyle it offers, and the people in it. I have lived in Ferrisburgh for 31 years and retired early from Collins Aerospace in 2020 having held senior leadership positions and traveled the world. My wife, Elaine, is a native Vermonter. We raised our family of four children here and attend church here. Since retiring I have given back to our community by teaching high school math, coaching middle and high school soccer, serving as a Ferrisburgh Justice of the Peace, and ACT 250 Commissioner for Addison County. I am a practiced listener. I listen to people. I will listen to you.

Like you, I want an affordable Vermont with a more balanced government so that hard-working Vermonters and our children can continue to enjoy living and raising families here.

As a free-thinking individual I am not bound to any particular "playbook".  My goal as your Representative will be to weigh each item on its merits to all Vermonters, especially those in NW Addison County.  And I will ALWAYS count the costs and consider the unintended consequences (which our current legislators don't seem to do).  My primary Alliance will be with Gov. Phil Scott and his repeated agenda to make Vermont more affordable, reduce the tax burden, and keep workers here by providing real affordable housing.

Currently there are no effective checks and balances in the Vermont House and Senate super-majorities. Led by out-of-touch far-left progressives, democrats continue to increase taxes, add new taxes, increase fees, increase bureaucracy, bloat our government and burden small businesses, all while voting to double their own pay! It’s outrageous! That is why we need to elect more common sense, fiscally responsible Republicans to level the playing field, give Gov. Phil Scott a fighting chance to stop things that are bad for Vermonters, and bring Balance to Vermont.

Under progressive democrat control Vermont has been heading south. It’s time to vote NORTH!

I CAN, and WILL, push back against extreme policies and stay focused on what’s important to you.
