The Great Juxtaposition

The incumbents can puff themselves up all they want about their qualifications for the job based on the committees they serve on and the bills they've worked on, but that's nothing special - that's called “doing your job”. Anybody can go to work and do their job. We all do.

I've worked with people all over the globe, customers, suppliers, engineers and manufacturing floor workers, government inspectors and business leaders to design solutions to solve very difficult aerospace problems. But it was always with the end user in mind: whether it's the pilot in the front of the plane, the guy fueling the plane, or the lady in seat 37B in the back of the plane, I was always focused on what's best for the people that my decisions ultimately affected.

And that's the big difference between all the incumbent progressive Democrats and me and my Republican candidate friends. When we get elected and serve in office we will serve on those same committees and do the work of a legislator but we will do it with YOU THE PEOPLE in mind.  Whether it's the business owner on RT 7, or the farmer in Addison, the employee living on School St in Vergennes, or the retiree in Ferrisburgh, we will be designing solutions and solving the tough problems to benefit YOU, THE PEOPLE of Addison County, not to benefit the speaker of the house or the party or our political careers.

The incumbents’ voting records prove that they consistently vote in lock step union with their party like a bunch of lemmings following the dictates of their party leader. Just look at their voting record for proof! They vote for their party and against Governor Scott overriding 7 of his 8 very wise vetoes this past year alone. That's why they're called a “super majority”: they all vote together as a block as directed by their leader. A vote for any of these incumbents is just another vote for the progressive party leader, because they're going to do exactly what she tells them to do.

Whereas, a vote for me or any other free thinking rational Republican is a vote for you the people of Addison County. We will listen to you and vote for your priorities: lower taxes, affordable housing, affordable reliable energy, affordable education, and lower crime. We will work WITH Governor Scott, not against him, to accomplish what's good for Vermonters.

Vote for a CHANGE. Vote for ROB NORTH and JOE BAKER for STATE REPRESENTATIVE.
