I'm Fighting for You

As I fight for affordability, lower taxes, education quality and funding reform, lower energy prices, and more housing options for you and your children, I appreciate hearing from you. Join us at these events:

1) Addison-3 District partner Matt Birong and I will be hosting another “Coffee with Constituents” on Saturday morning Feb 22 from 9:30-10:30 at LuLu ice cream.

2) Our next Addison County Legislative Breakfast will be held at the Bristol American Legion on Monday, Feb 24 from 7:00-9:00am.

3) Town Meeting is just around the corner the first week of March as follows:

Saturday 3/1 Ferrisburgh 10:00am.

Monday 3/3 Waltham 6:00pm, New Haven 6:30, Panton 7:00, Addison 7:00, Vergennes 7:30.

This past November, Vermonters achieved an historical overthrow of the Democrat super-majority because we wanted change. Now, after a brief honeymoon period, the Dem majority is beginning to dig in and ignore the will of the voters and slow-roll the proposed legislation to fix these high-cost issues. By stalling and hunkering down, they are hoping to survive the next 2 years and regain their supermajority status. If we let that happen, important legislation will stalemate then go back to business as usual with little or no attempts to reduce our high cost of living. The good news is that Vermonters have the power, and must continue to call for the changes you voted for. Contact the members of the State House Energy Committee let them know of your desire to move forward with the bills that will repeal these costly energy laws:

H.16 - Repeal the Clean Heat Standard

H.52 - Reduce GWSA requirements to goals, or

H.62 - Repeal GWSA

H.159 - Repeal Renewable Energy Standard

The Committee’s email addresses are listed on their website HERE.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events. Please contact me through my website if you have any questions.

I remain honored to be your Representative,

Rob North
